    Dr. Assar is a well-known interventional cardiologist with over 37 years of diverse experience in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular disease, and internal medicine. Dr. Assar is one of the leaders in the market on Structural Heart Disease, TAVR (trans aortic valve replacement) PFO and ASD Closure (patent foramen oval and arterial septal defect), the Watchman left atrial closure device, Carotid Artery Stent, AAA (abdominal aortic aneurysm) as well as device implantation of permanent pacemakers, defibrillator, and loop recorders.
