Claudia Macias, AGACNP-BC

Claudia Macias is a board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of nursing experience and advanced clinical training in adult and geriatric care. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Claudia is known for her compassionate, individualized approach and dedication to improving the health and well-being of her patients. During her nursing career, she was awarded with a most prestigious recognition of Excellence in Nursing due to her ongoing drive to provide the best holistic patient care.

She currently serves patients at Southwest Cardiology Associates, where she specializes in managing complex cardiovascular conditions and promoting long-term healing. Her previous experience includes roles in wound care, case management, cardiac care, and infusion therapy.

Claudia holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University, where she focused on Adult-Gerontology Acute Care. Her extensive clinical rotations included internal medicine, endocrinology, ICU, and advanced wound care—strengthening her ability to deliver comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plans. Due to her extensive experience in the medical field and her deep passion for quality care and strong communication, Claudia is able to relate to her patients’ circumstances and barriers, always allowing them to collaborate in their plan of care achieving the best possible health outcomes.
