Chelsea McAuley
Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Chelsea McAuley is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care and helping patients achieve their best possible cardiovascular health. She has worked in the healthcare field since 2013 and brings a diverse clinical background to her role at Southwest Cardiovascular Associates.
Chelsea began her healthcare career as a certified ophthalmology assistant and emergency department medical scribe before earning her nursing degree. She joined Banner Health in 2020, where she gained extensive experience caring for patients in cardiac progressive care, intermediate care during the COVID-19 pandemic, and inpatient dialysis. Throughout her nursing career, she cared for patients across a wide range of acuity levels, from medical-surgical to cardiovascular intensive care.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Arizona State University, an Associate Degree in Nursing from Scottsdale Community College, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University, and a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Phoenix. During her time at Banner Health, she obtained her Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) credential and was recognized as a Clinical Expert in the Progressive Care Unit.
Chelsea began her nurse practitioner career in gastroenterology, caring for both inpatient and outpatient populations before returning to her passion for cardiology. At Southwest Cardiovascular Associates, she is committed to delivering personalized, patient-centered care focused on prevention, education, and improving long-term heart health outcomes.
Outside of work, Chelsea enjoys reading, film, crocheting, and spending time with her husband, children, and family. She plans to pursue her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree to further advance her clinical expertise and continue providing exceptional care to her patients.
